I have been on the receiving end of that moment. It changed me. So I decided to spend my life creating it for others.

The Lit Affair is built on one quiet belief: that the best stories find you when you stop choosing and start surrendering. Every box I send out is a blind date I have arranged personally — a carefully chosen, gently loved book wrapped in paper, sealed with a note, and sent into the world to meet exactly the right reader at exactly the right moment.

Each book in our collection has already lived a life in someone else's hands. It carries a little warmth from that. By choosing gently used books, you are not just saving money — you are becoming part of a story that was already in progress. You are adding your chapter to something that came before you and will continue after.

That feels like the most romantic thing in the world to me.

Each Lit Affair box contains one hand-selected, gently used book wrapped in brown kraft paper. On the outside: a few tantalising clues about the story inside — the mood, the genre, the feeling it will leave you with. Never the title. Never the author.
